This great belt buckle is made of scrimshaw ivory with a great clipper ship nautical theme. It features a clipper ship and old boathouse. It measures 2 1/4" x 1 1/2". It is totally encased in sterling silver with a great design. The artist carved his intials at the bottom right - DC - and has the maker's mark on the back. It has good hrft and is excellent condition. It is c. 1990's.
