This simple but lovely ring is a plain 12k gold band set with four oval Persian turquoise cabochons and six small pearls. All are dogtooth prong set. The turquoises are 5 X 2 mm, and the pearls 1.5 mm in diameter. The ring is marked with two small square stamps which are too small to read. Size 6

Delightfully simple and just plain gorgeous, this lovely light purple amethyst and gold ring is signed by the Untermeyer Robbins company of New York. The firm was founded in 1901 and the ring dates from circa 1930. It is a size 6 3/4 and is made of 10 k gold.
