This pendant with a winged cherub is delicately carved in mother-of-pearl and surrounded by rose-cut diamonds. The pendant is 14 k yellow gold, and the diamonds are set in 14 k white gold. Ten larger and 47 smaller rose-cut diamonds surround the cameo, and nine more diamonds are pave-set on the bail. This piece is really stunning...perfect for the lover of cherubs. 1 1/2" x 1" plus 3/8" bale. Marked [and tested] 14 k, and there is a maker's mark I can't identify.

Some marriages are made in Heaven, and this is one. This brooch is a marriage of three Victorian pieces: the bar pin with six diamonds, the enamel bow, and the heart-shaped enamel slide. The bow and slide must once have been part of the same piece. The pin is 12 k gold, and the bow and slide 18 k. The bar pin is 1 3/4" long. It's absolutely stunning!

This lovely turn-of-the-century pendant is signed with the dragonfly mark for Mayle & Meyer, a firm about which little is known. They probably were located in Pforzheim and made beautiful Art Nouveau, Jugenstil, and Art Deco jewelry. This wonderful example is made of 935 silver [higher silver content than sterling], enamel, citrine, and marcasite. The pendant is centered with a 12 x 30 mm oval citrine surrounded by marcasites, with enameled bows on the sides and enameled ribbons top and bott ...click for details
