The poem reads:
On the 600th anniversary of Toshinari Sanmi,
I feel the good old days of Toshinari's life in the falling snow.
In the white snowfall, I think of him,
and the wonderous words of Toshinari shine
Ohide

Toshinari: Fujiwara Toshinari (1114-1204), Fujiwara Shunzei
Sanmi: "Third rank" of an official retainer.
