An unusual and rare Pre-Columbian necklace of ancient ivory-colored scorpion eggs and ceramic disc beads that were discovered together (it was restrung in Columbia). The multi-strand necklace of alternating scorpion eggs and ceramic beads are strung in a bi-tone arrangement - 4 strands of scorpion eggs alternating with dark reddish brown beads on one side, 4 strands of scorpion eggs alternating with ochre-colored beads on the other that are looped in the center and doubled back to the clasp. A full necklace of a mixture of cylinder, annular, tubular and truncated ellipsoid carnelian beads. There are also two "bullet" beads. This is a complete necklace - not random pieces put together. Naturally, it has been restrung. Age: 500 AD

A grouping of beautiful Pre-Columbian beads to makeup this necklace. There are 7 rare translucent tubular quartz crystal beads that are flared at the ends (one bead broken - see photo). These tubular beads vary in length from 2-3/4 inches to 3-5/8 inches. There are 2 large green stone "gusano" (grub) beads among the other 22 green stone beads in this set. The Quartz beads can date back over 2000 years.
