A very rare large white Martaban jar. Very difficult to find an original white jar like this. This jar came from Borneo but made in China, and were highly valued by the chieftains in Borneo. This one has a symbol of a humane figure painted inside most likely done by the chieftain who owned the jar. Size: H. 84cm. W. 45cm. Condition: Perfect.

An unusual jade male dancer with his legs twirling around each other, one arm on his chest the other straight down on his side. Most of the color of the jade is gone except for some remnants of the original jade still remaining. I have strung him to be worn as a pendent. Age: Hard to date this piece. 19th century or before.
