An assortment glass seals consisting of 4 domed ovals, 1 tabular rectangle and 1 thick round tabular seal. The colors range from a dark amber brown to a light yellow topaz color. The motifs are of the Hindu God Shiva (2), bulls (2), elephant (1), fish (1). Seals such as these are difficult to find. A well carved "crystal" glass Buddha in the Dhyana Mudra position. Both hands are placed on the lap with the palms facing upwards. Size: H. 5.2cm. W. at the base, 3.5cm.
Condition: Perfect. Some staining from long burial and some dirt incrustations that can be removed.
A seated bronze figure of Buddha in the earth-touching gesture. The Buddha sits on a platform with openwork scroll patterns. The face is round with facial features done in an free and unusual manner that give a tranquil, meditative expression.
