A well carved "crystal" glass Buddha in the Dhyana Mudra position. Both hands are placed on the lap with the palms facing upwards. Size: H. 5.2cm. W. at the base, 3.5cm. Condition: Perfect. Some staining from long burial and some dirt incrustations that can be removed.

An extremely rare large black agate square stones etched and fired with a cross on both sides. The rest of the beads are an assortment of rare and unusual etched beads. These beads were mot likely made in India but found in Burma. Size: total L. 70 cm. Condition: No repairs.

A Rare oval bead of multi-colored glass. The varied shades of sea-green, yellow and brick red folded into the glass create complex swirling and wavy designs. A 19th century black lacquer with red interior household basket of Victorian design made for Europeans in Burma during that era. These were made in Kyaukkae in the Chinwin District. Size: H: 31.5cm. W. 32.5cm. Condition: No repairs. Some loss of lacquer from age. See photos.

A nice striped agate bead necklace sometimes confused with "puntek beads" which are originally from India and are made from opalized wood. These beads were probably also from India and were very broadly used during the Pyu period in Burma. Many reproductions of these beads are made today but are easily detected because the lack the luster of the real ones. Most of the beads are actually white in color and are striped with the black lines. Size: L 46cm.

A Ming wooden statue of the Daoist God of War, seated with one foot on a turtle, for immortality,and one on a snake, for supernatural power. The back has a little cut out area for relics and a handle for holding it for display. Size: H.32cm. W. 15cm. Condition: Most of the paint still remains, some flaking. There is a little piece missing from the right side of the ornament on his shoulder.

A lovely strand of 108 round beads with larger round coral-colored Ching glass beads spaced at 27 bead intervals. The coral beads are of a natural salmon pink.
