A bronze figure of Buddha standing on a platform that flares outward at the bottom. It is an interesting piece. The facial features are simple - almost primitivistic in nature but charmingly expressive. The age has worn away the most of the hands and feet.
Period: 14th Century Tibet
Size: Height = 10.2 cm
Condition: Protruding features have worn down. Has a nice patina which, under magnification, reveals that it had originally been lacquered and gilded.
