| A Nonya bowl with maker's stamp. Nonya wares are over-glaze polychrome enamelled porcelains made in Jingdezhen in the Kiangsi province of China for the Straits Chinese, or Babas, whose female counterparts are called Nonyas, hence the term Nonya ware.
