A very large translucent cylindrical agate bead with multi natural stripes at the center. The gold caps (of the period) are decorated with spiral and eye-shaped filigree work. The rest of the necklace is comprised of ancient agate beads, gold square-shaped beads and ochre-colored glass beads (all of the period) Period: Southeast Asian, 100BC - 100AD Size: The central cylinder bead is 9.5 cm long. The full necklace is 48 cm. Condition: The bead has no cracks or chips. There are some slight superficial nicks. Has a nice patina from age. |
