This is a very unusual hardstone carving of a combination Brush Holder-Brush Washer and Brush Rest. The stone has a look similar to Tortoise Shell. The Piece measures 4.0" wide, 4.0" in height and is 2.25" in depth.
This is a fine example of an early Satsuma Vase. The Vase was likely signed but the signature was worn away through the years.

This is a finely detailed Satsuma Cricket Cage/Basket, expertly decorated by one of the most talented artist; Meizan. The Basket measures a full 7.75" in height and is 5.0" in diameter. This is one of the finest pieces of Satsuma that I have owned. The Level of detail can only be accomplished by a handful of Satsuma artists. The Vase has a partial signature but not enough to be fully translated. The Vase is a full 10" in height and 6.25" wide at the Dragon handles. There have been no repairs or restoration. This is an early Satsuma Tea Caddy signed Choda Shozan. The Tea Caddy measures @' x 2" x 3" in height. I believe that this piece of Satsuma may be 19th century. Very Good condition with almost no loss of gilding.

This a Ming Dynasty Offering Table (1366-1644 AD) . This offering table is in better than average condition considering the Glaze and minimal age related damage(chips, etc) The Ming offering table is a replica of the Chinese custom to pay respect in their ancestors and provide them with all of the foods that they may require. The table measures 8.28"w x 8.25"l x 9.25"h.This is a very special item for the avid collector.
This is a Han Dynasty or perhaps or possibly the earlier Qin Dynasty (321-206BC). This beautifully burnished Jar shows a dark gray,(almost black) color. The surface has been burnished much like the earlier Swirling eye Amphora. The Jar is in exceptionally good condition with no chips or repairs. The Jar measures 9.75" in height and 10.75" in length.
This is a finely potted cosmetic box. The glaze is in excellent condition. The incised work shows better than is shown in photo. There are no repairs or restorations.The Box measures 3.75" in diameter and is 2.25" in height.
This is a glazed Burial Urn from the Song Dynasty. The glaze is in excellent condition. The top is the same color but about two shades lighter. There is no damage or repair to the piece. The Urn and lid measure 20.5" in height and 4.5" in diameter.
