This is a Han Dynasty (206BC-220AD) Chinese Burial Oven with two Glazed vessels. This is a genuine piece as evidenced by the degree of glaze iridescence covering most of the surface. The top surface of the oven is exceptionally detailed. The piece has normal firing flaws for a burial piece of this period. This Green Glazed Han Dish is a Rare and unusual piece of Han Dynasty(202BC-22-AD) Mortuary Pottery. The dish measures 5" in diameter and is 1.25" in height. This 13th-14th C Cizhou Stem Cup is painted with three rust-color floral designs and with a single ring at the top and bottom of the outside of the cup. This beautiful Stem Cup is possibly dated to the Yuan Dynasty from the JingDeZhen Kilns but could have been produced as late as the Ming Dynasty. The dark Cobalt blue design can be felt protruding above the surface of the lighter glaze as is the characteristic of glazes of this period.
