This is a finely potted and decorated Vase by the Satsuma artist Taizan. The Vase is signed in Gold gilt near the base and also backmarked with an impressed mark of Taizan on the base. The Vase stands a full 10.0 inches tall and is 3.75 inches in diameter. The vase is pristine condition with the exception of a tiny hairline(.12") at the upper lip. This is an extremely rare Tang dynasty Jar. The glaze has dulled slightly due to the pieces long burial. There are no chips or repairs to the piece. Dimensions will be emailed upon a show of interest. I have only seen one of these in over twenty years of collecting and this is it.

This beautiful pair of Yingching glazed vases have been a cheerished part of my personal collection for over twenty years.
