| I have owned this Jade Ge for a number of years and am convinced that it is a very old piece. The Jade appears to be a mutton fat type of jade. Having worked with jade in the past, I can recognize the "orange peal surface" that makes getting a fine polish on Jade so difficult. The tip of the Ge has been worn down for some unknown reason. This is a very unusual and interesting Jade. If it is Neolithic or even ancient it could be very valuable.The Ge is 4.65"long, 1.63"wide, and approx. .3" thick' | |||||||||||||||
