Gorgeous antique marquetry panel inlaid with various woods and mother-of-pearl. Manufacturer unknown but very much in the style of Emile Galle & Majorelle; French, c1900. There is no signature on this piece but it is of very high quality. These Art Nouveau panels are nearly always of landscapes or floral subjects, very rarely do we find human portraits such as this. A monster piece of blown studio glass by Louis Leloup and Samuel J Herman for Val St Lambert; Belgian, c1980. Ref: Le Genie Verrier by Cappa p.452. Less than 200 of these Leloup/Herman pieces were produced,, this is the only coupe I've ever seen.

Lovely cameo glass vase by Daum Nancy; French, c1910. I have seen this Teasel pattern only once before - on p28 of the Christies Cameo Glass sale Catalogue from 17th June 1999 (see pic 7) where a 10" example was estimated at 3,100 to 3,800 Euros.
