Sweet Art Deco Durand Kimble cluthra glass vase; c1931. Vase is mouth-blown of clear-crystal with intercalary decoration of green and white powders. Measures approx 6.5" high and is in mint condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Signed to underside with typical Durand Shape and Decor codes and the Kimble 'K'.
This vase is from the personal collection of the family that bought the Vineland glassworks after the death of Victor Durand. This is a unique opportunity to purchase an original Durand piece that has been in the same private collection for nearly 80 years. |
