This set of 6 porcelain plates was produced in France by Coronet Limoges before 1920. These plates have a double stamp indicating that both the porcelain and the decoration are from the same factory. They have a diameter of 8 1/2 inches. The porcelain blank has a beaded, scalloped border. The scallops create petal-like segments. The center decoration is a factory transfer print which has enameled accents. They are copied from designs Sevres used. Lacy hand gilding frames the center reserve. Raised gold and beading are used. The rims are trimmed with heavy gilding. Three plates use the same transfer design and three plates are entirely different. They would be wonderful for use or display.
