This crystal glass plate was produced in the United States before 1920. It is not signed so we are not certain of the maker. The engraving has the quality of companies such as Hawkes, Sinclaire or Steuben. The crystal plate is hand blown with a polished pontil. It is quite heavy and rings brilliantly. The plate is hand engraved with garlands of roses. There is a laurel wreath in the center of the plate.

This crystal compote was produced in the U.S. before 1910. It is not a signed piece so we are not certain what company made it. But we are certain that it is American and it is from the brilliant cut period. The height is 9 1/4 inches and the diameter of the opening is 5 1/2 inches. These 8 goblets were produced in the U.S. by Hawkes at the turn of the 19th century. The mark with three circles containing three hawks is on the bottom of the glass. They are 6 ½ inches high and 3 ¼ inches in diameter. These are examples of the finest quality engraving we have ever had. The glasses are entirely covered with plumes, swirling foliage, and flowers.
