| Western Impressionist Rose Pitcher Shears, 1885 - 1955, Church in the Wildwood, oil on board, 19 7/8" by 23 7/8", signed lower left and titled verso, 26 3/4" by 30 3/4" housed in carved gilded period reproduction frame, no apparent restorations. Artist was born in South Dakota 1885, details of her training are unknown. While a resident of Los Angeles in the 1920's, she made painting forays into the deserts near Palm Springs. | ||
