| Lawrence McConaha 1894 - 1962, Glimpse of the Lake, oil on board, 10" by 12 1/4", signed lower right, 18 1/2" by 20 3/4" housed in carved silver leaf period reproduction frame, scattered minor retouch to sky at edges and water. Artist studied with Guy Wiggins and George Baker. Worked in Richmond, Indiana during the early 20th century. Exhibited American Artists Professional League, Art Institute of Chicago, Corcoran Gallery Biennial, Hoosier Salon, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Member Salmagundi Club and Washington D.C.
