| American Impressionist, Hal Robinson 1875 - 1933, Hudson River Valley in Autumn, oil on canvas, 15" by 17", signed lower right, 221/4" by 24 1/2" framed in high quality 22K gold leaf carved period reproduction frame, lined on new stretcher bars with repaired 3/4" tear to center of horizon and scattered minor retouch to sky. Artist traveled and painted throughout the Hudson River Valley and Old Lyme, Connecticut areas. Details of his training are unknown. Exhibited Corcoran Gallery Biennial and National Academy of Design, starting 1896. | ||
