A rare antique Tibetan embroidery depicting a Phoenix. This beautiful textile fragment has been made into a wall hanging pillow. The central panel is embroidered in multi-colored silks on a yellow silk ground. This panel depicts a large phoenix (in a spectacular plumage display in gold and purple silk) amoungst flowers, leafs and spiraling branches.
