'Virgen de Guadalupe' by Gabino Reyes Made in 2006 This wonderful woodcarving stands 10 3/4 inches high The base of the altar is 8 by 6 inches Hand painted and hand carved of eagle and copal wood A wonderful example of Oaxacan woodcarving and a fine folk art collectible. Will make a wonderful addition to any art collection. Gabino's work is exceptional, with an emphasis to fine detail. He is among the best of Oaxacan woodcarvers.
