Dating from Meiji Period, 19th century. This beautiful tiny vase is made by a work of a master of Owari Cloisonne, "Hayashi Kodenji (1831-1915)". Hayashi Kodenji is an expert artisan of Cloisonne in Meiji era. His teacher is a pioneer of Japanese Shippo(Cloisonne), "Hayashi Shogoro(?-1896). He(Kodenji) sells excellent cloisonne work in Meiji Era to foreign countries from Yokohama. High evaluation is obtained. The reality of a design is his feature. A wonder of exquisite workmanship. This very beautiful tiny vase is in excellent condition. Hayashi Kodenji's artisan mark on the base. This vase is actually seen more beautiful than these catalog photo.
