Owari Cloisonne Tiny Vase, Gold Fish by Hayashi Kodenji

Dating from Meiji Period, 19th century.
This beautiful tiny vase is made by a work of a master of Owari Cloisonne, "Hayashi Kodenji (1831-1915)".

Hayashi Kodenji is an expert artisan of Cloisonne in Meiji era.
His teacher is a pioneer of Japanese Shippo(Cloisonne), "Hayashi Shogoro(?-1896).
He(Kodenji) sells excellent cloisonne work in Meiji Era to foreign countries from Yokohama.
High evaluation is obtained.
The reality of a design is his feature. A wonder of exquisite workmanship.
