Pair of authentic edwardian period beaded and jeweled shoes. Condition - very good vintage. Leather is in very good supple condition.Some scuffing on front point. Some scattered tiny beads missing but overall quite presentable. Nice cut steel studs. Measures approx. 10 inches from toe to back and approx. 2 1/2" across. Accompanied by note that reads - Bronze slippers owned by Mrs. Peter F. Murphy [Virginia Gibert] worn Oct, 19th 1909 for her 15th wedding anniversary reception. Purchased from Strawbridge and Clothiers in Philadelphia. |
