Here is a large and important charger designed by Wilhelm Kåge for Gustavsberg. It measures 11 1/2" in diameter and is 3" high on five feet. On the underside is incised Gustavsberg, Studio with the Gustavsberg hand insignia, the date code for 1956, and Kåge. Farsta is impressed on each of the five feet. The interior is a geometric design. Mint condition.

On the underside is painted in silver Handdrejad (hand thrown), Gustavsberg, Argenta, the old anchor insignia, the date code G (1937), KÅGE, 1045, III. Stamped is Hand Drejad. Here is a superb example of the artistry and craftsmanship of the great ceramicist Berndt Friberg. This miniature vase measures 4" tall and is 1 1/4" in diameter. On the underside of the perfect footring is incised Friberg, the Gustavsberg hand insignia, and the date code d. This vase was created in 1962, when the artist was at the height of his powers. The glaze is a creamy yellow, which pools with masterly finesse at the footring. Mint condition.
