| This early example of Wilhelm Kåge's enormously popular Argenta series for Gustavsberg dates from 1934 (Argenta pieces commenced production in 1931). This bowl measures 8 3/8" (21.5cm) in diameter, and is on a narrow foot. This shape is quite rare. On the underside of the foot of this hand thrown piece is impressed KÅGE with the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia, the HAND DREJAD. Painted in silver is Argenta 1073 III (the model number), and the date code D (1934) and the painter's letter O. Mint condition. | ||
