Great Japanese sterling tea kettle Master
This wonderful work Japanese tea kettle from Meiji Era. It has Shi Shi lion and Dragon raised work with Ho bird spout, all work has wonderful detail. This kettle is 4in diameter,6in height with handle weight is very heavy 7.1/2 oz has artist singed to the bottom Kazu Teru No sliver mark but I did test sure to be sterling sliver.Top knob is like chrysanthemu shape (it is moveing made this way) and lid has maple design, handle has bamboo design all very fine work from Meiji Era. Condition is very good, has some scratch to the bottom and very minor pin hole dent to the bottom. This kettle is vary special I have never seen fine work as this.
