Ancient Egyptian Large Faience Papyrus Scepter Amulet

DIMENSIONS: 2.132” (54.16 mm)
CONDITION: Repaired from two breaks. Remains a nice, large example.

COMMENTS: A large Late Period example of a faience amulet depicting a papyrus scepter. Not surprisingly, the papyrus scepter is an instrument which is indicative of the art of the scribe. Could be worn as a pendant / amulet as suspension loop is intact (with only some chipping).
