COMMENTS: This fantastic Ancient Egyptian Late Period Faience Mummy Bead Necklace features symmetric bands of complementary coloured beads. It is made from assorted colours of ancient faience mummy beads restrung on new, 20 lb. test fishing line (with modern clasp) for safety and preservation. A wonderfully wearable necklace of rich historical significance. It is interesting to note that the mummy beads still retain a faint hint ancient perfume. Quite extraordinary is the thought that we can experience these beads much as the Ancient Egyptians did over 2000 years ago, with multiple senses. This really adds to the historical experience.
