This website was esteblished in Fall 2000. We have Japanese textile and all Uchikake wedding kimonos are directly from High end-wedding shop in Kyoto.
We try hard to find only special and beautiful items and all the wedding Kimonos are in flawless conditioned and their original price is $20.000~40.000 and have been rented out 3~4 times. Because Japanese brides don't want to rent Uchikake that is older than couple of months(out of fashion), we are able to supply top quality Uchikake at low price.
We're getting more and more exquisite vintage kimonos and other ornaments as Obi, so please keep watching us.
Thank you very much!
This black Kimono Tomesode picture was taken at Solstice party right before X-mas of 2003. I don't dress up in Kimono often, as there simply aren't many occasions. But as this party was costume party, I dressed as Lucy Liu style from the movie Kill Bill.
This is me, in red silk Kakeshita which later was featured in commercial calendar by portal publishing company 2003. You can go to calendars.com and look for kimono, you'll see 6 of my kimonos in their calendar!
This is me in red Kimono, and my friend Paddy in Blue Kimono!
Hey, I'm now wearing blue Chirimen Kakeshita(wedding furisode) that Paddy wore just few minutes ago... I don't want to look too bad, so I'm checking if I got dressed right
Now, in order to have first picture taken, my friend helped me dress up. But my friend got jealous and wanted to try same kimono. So, now I'm helping her dress up as her lady-in-waiting. Meanwhile, I'm wearing different Kakeshita. It's sky blue chirimen silk.
Both of us smiling, we love kimonos~! Long haired one is me, and short haired lady is my friend Paddy. My friend went back to Korea for good, but she became a Kimono junkie like I am, ever since she tried her first kimono that day. She now makes doll kimonos as well~!
