| Yay! I finally got a sewing machine to make these cute tug and treat bags. Some of you may have never seen tug & treat bag, so let me explain. When you train your dog for agility/flyball/freestyle dance/obedience or plain fun time, you can throw this bag filled with treats to your dog to work on lateral movement, or to mark specific place for specific behavior. Since this bag is made with fleece and also lined with fleece, it's durable, yet soft on dog's mouth. Opening is made with velcro, so your dog won't hurt his teeth while tugging this toy. It's different from some flimsy toy that rips apart right away. This actually lasts for a long time. I've been using these bags for a whole year now, and this is something I never forget when I go to agility class with my dogs. It works the best for dog who isn't toy motivated, and this really teaches your dog how to retrieve/tug. My model Zulu (white one) and Bianca (Border Collie) love these bags. During photo shoot, Zulu grabbed one of the sample bag and ran away with it! Please see detail photo. Now, the fun part. How do you teach your dog to enjoy this toy? First, hook this toy's handle to the string or long leash. Show your dog that this toy is filled with delicious treat, then throw. as the dog wants to grab it, you start pulling the string and when the dog and the bag are right in front of you, you open it up and reward your dog. After a few tries, most dogs will learn how to retrieve this toy and drool for the treat inside that only human can open! Toy bag part is 3~4" deep and 7~8" long. Nylon handle is about 7~8" long.
