Willem de Mieris, dutch, 1662-1747. This wonderful example of Dutch Genre painting is oil on copper and is signed and dated lower right on a fish basket. It is a painting of a typical 18th C Dutch town market at a fish vendor where a lady has stopped to examine the merchandise. The painting is 14 7/16" W by 17 11/16" H. This Dutch artist was highly regarded in his own time as well as at present. His paintings sell at auction for up to $616,000.

Jan Miense Molenaer,Dutch, 1610-1668. This genre/landscape painting is oil on cradled panel, signed lower right "J Molenaer". It is 9.25" by 8.25" in a beautiful ornate 4.5 18th C frame. The condition is good. There was a clean vertical crack in the panel which was well repaired with almost no inpainting. Molenaer is a highly regarded Dutch artist with almost 2 pages in Benezit. He worked in Haarlem, Holland where he was a student of Frans Hals. He painted genre, portraits, interiors and also did engravings. His work is in many major museums such as London's National Gallery, Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels, Cologne, Paris' Louvre, and many others. His paintings sell for up to $350,000 +.

Jacobus Ludovicus Cornet, DUTCH, 1815-1882. This is a very rare and fine example of Cornet's work. It is oil on a fine wood panel, 13 3/4" W by 10 7/8" H, signed lower right (small but clear). It is framed in a very good newer Belgian frame, 20" by 17 1/4". It is in good condition with no warping of panel and only a small amount of inpainting in the upper right sky. Cornet lived and worked in Leyde, Holland, where also founded a School of Art. He was known for genre & portrait paintings as well as etchings. His work is in Museums in Amsterdam, Brussels, Harcgies,La Louviere, Marcinelle, Mons, Saint-Amound, Tournai & Tubize. His paintings sell for up to $20,000.

Cornelius Wouter Bouter, Dutch, 1888-1966.
This Charming Genre Scene of a Dutch Mother with her Baby and Children in her Kitchen is a very fine example of Bouter's work. It is oil on canvas in a European Frame, signed lower right. It is 16 1/8"H by 20 1/8"W with framed dimensions of 22 5/8"H
by 24 5/8"W. Bouter worked in Untrecht, Holland and was a student of Bernard de Hoog.
