Anatole Henri de Beaulieu, French, 1819-1884. This stunning and exotic painting is a wonderful example of the barbizon school in France. It is oil on canvas signed lower left in a very wide impressive 19th c original frame. It is 48.5" W by 27.5" H and framed is 65.5" W by 44.5" H. It appears to be a sunset scene in the orientalist manner of the 19th C, probably a scene in northern Africa. His paintings sell for up to $80,000.

Francois Charles Cachoud, French, 1866-1943. This gorgeous, lush night painting is Cachoud at his best. It is 25.5" by 32" in a stunning 19th C Gold leaf frame, with framed dimensions of about 35.5" by 42". It is fresh from an estate and is in good condition but needs a light cleaning and some touch up on the frame. A student of the great Gustave Moreau and Robert Delauny, he competed in the Salon de Paris, 1892 through the 1940's. He also obtained a gold medal at l'Exposition Universelle in Paris. He was the recipient of the Legion d'Honneur in 1910. Works Held in museums: National Musees Chambery, Oran, and the Petit Palais, Paris; and numerous American Museums including the Philadelphia Museum of Fine Art.

This beautiful, detailed landscape is painted in crisp detail. It is oil on wood panel with a Marshall Fields Gallery Sticker on the back. It is approximately 8" by 14", with frame 13 1/4" by 19 1/4".
It is housed in th beautiful original 19th C frame. It is signed lower left and in good condition with minor paint crackle. He sells at auctions for up to $60,000.
