Rubens Santoro, Italian, 1859-1952.
This oil on canvas is a beautiful and rare early (19th C) painting by the well known painter of Venetian Scenes. It is 16" by 26" and is signed lower left in a period frame. Framed Dimensions: 21 1/16" by 31 1/16". His painting are in high demand and command prices up to $300,000. He is listed in Benezit, has extensive auction records and is in Museums: Cincinnati, Reggio Calabrese, Turin. He was the son of Giovanni-Battista Santoro and a student of Domenico Morelli at the Academie des Beaux-Arts of Naples. He showed in Naples, Turin, Rome and in foreign countries, notably in London
and the Salon des Artists Francais de Paris, where he obtained an honorable mention in 1886. He is known almost exclusively for his animated views of Venice.

Francesco Bergamini, Italian, 1851-1900. This exquisite painting is a very fine example of Bergamini's work. The painting is oil on wood panel, signed upper left. It is 10 3/8"W by 18 1/5H in a lovely ornate 19th C frame for 14 5/8"W by 23"H. Bergamini is known for his finely detailed paintings of religious scenes and Italian scenes.
He is listed in Davenport and Benezit and his paintings sell for up to $60,000.

This oil on canvas is signed Hubert Robert verso on the bottom of the 18th C stretcher. It is 29" by 23" and has an older lining (19th C). The stretchers are consistent with the 18th C. Robert was known for a variety of subject matter, mainly landscapes,sometimes nocturnal and often with architecture. His paintings can sell over $1,000,000.

Fillipo Indoni, 19th C Italian. Oil on Canvas, signed mid lower right. this oil on canvas is typical of Indoni's portrait. It is 29" by 39" and if framed in a handsome 19th C original frame. Framed dimensions are 36" by 46". It has had a small repair in the upper background but no problems in the Figure itself. Indoni is listed in Mallett, Benezit and Davenport and his paintings sell for up to $20,000.
