Italo Scanga, Italian-American, California, 1932- , This wonderful cubist sculpture of the head of a jester is Scanga at his finest. It is playful, colorful and handsome. It is wood with oil paint, 27"H by 17"W by 16"D, signed on a brass plate on the base "Italo Scanga 1985" and numbered in black marker on the base #30. There is a gallery sticker on the bottom with black marker. He has extensive gallery representation and auction records up to $20,000.
