These Japanese boys dancing while holding a rope between them have been remounted on a stand covered with puppet theatre book paper (jorui). Their expressions and old cloth dates their age. Looks like the hands and feet have been touched up but detracts in no way from the attractiveness of the dolls. Would make a great addition to your antique collection. c.1880. (9½" x 6") (24cm x 15cm). EMS Shipping/Insurance to USA or Western Europe $45.
