Finely carved yew wood carp fish 'jizaikagi' that was used over the irori hearth hanging from a bamboo pole to stablize a cooking pot. C.1950. Very good condition and not a fake. Brilliant folk art piece. A clay 'Fushimi Ningyo' sumo doll from the 1930s. Fushimi Ningyo dolls were sought after souvenirs by visitors to Kyoto.
