| Winner of many Japanese ceramic prizes, Taijo was born in 1929. Taijo vases were often used by Japanese dignitaries as presents when visiting other countries. The Japanese Imperial family regularly bought from him. This vase has the trademark Tamba clay firing marks and look. c.1970. (11½" x 12") (29cm x 30cm).
