Antique Japanese Tea Ceremony Iron Brazier Kama c.1890
Japanese tea ceremony iron brazier with fantastic tetsu iron mizusashi inside with a poem of Japanese characters in raised relief. The characters explain the Tao of Tea, "Cha No Juttoku", the ten virtues of tea: balance of the five organs; honor all buddhas; respect parents; be aware of impurities; longevity; eliminate drowsiness; prevent disasters; follow the way of good; protect nature; promote peace.
