| Massive Irish cut glass canoe or navette shaped bowl. Height is 8",length is 12", width is 8". Beautiful, deep cutting with a swirled pattern to the lower section of the bowl. The foot is deeply lobed and thick. The condition of this piece is excellent with only several truly miniscule flakes to the rim. This elongated form is a specialty of the Irish glass houses which thrived after the tax on glass was lifted from Ireland in the 18th Century. A fine example of Irish glass. Waterford? | ||
