| Massive Irish cut glass canoe or navette shaped bowl. Height is 8",length is 12", width is 8". Beautiful, deep cutting with a swirled pattern to the lower section of the bowl. The foot is deeply lobed and thick.The condition of this piece is excellent with only several truly minute flakes to the rim. This form is a specialty of the Irish glass houses which thrived after the tax on glass was lifted from Ireland in the 18th Century. A lovely example of Irish glass. | ||
