Heavy crystal with a thick layer of cranberry overlay then cut to brilliant perfection. This is a stunning pitcher or decanter in the very desirable cranberry color. The color is from a thick layer of colored glass, not flashed or tinted.The silver plated mounts are in very good condition with the only fault a few small, rough bubbles to the silver of the top rim where it was put away wet. This is not visible with the lid closed. Glass is perfect. Height is 12" to top of thumb rest, width is 7". A truly massive and elegant piece of late Victorian glass. |
