| Ernst Wahliss reticulated secessionist compote with bronze mounts. There are clearly influences of Josef Hoffman in the reticulated edge.Height is 6", width is 8". There are some small issues with condition - the porcelain has hairlines at three points on the rim that occurred during firing and which are stable. There are 4 small flea bites to the inside of the rim (see images). There are also some small flea bites to the ridges of the foot.(see images). This is worthy of the small restoration. A stunning compote in high Viennese taste. | ||
