Ovoid body featuring five auspicious bats individually wrapped in stylized ruyi heads, covered with imperial yellow. Six-character Qianlong Mark and period. Very good condition without any damage or restoration. H: 16.5 cm.

With widely flared sides, the interior freely carved with two boys amidst stylized phony scroll with feathery leaves and roulette details, covered overall with fine glaze of pale azure tone, the unglazed base burnt light brown in the firing. V-shaped tea bowl has thin, straight walls, the interior painted in overglaze buff with flying phoenix and blossoming plum branch against black-brown ground. The exterior decorated with tortoiseshell glaze. Very good condition. 14.5 diameter, 5 cm high.
