The small Rhomboid Vase painted with landscape by famous artist Wang Ye Ting, at base there is a signature of "Ping Shan" which is a Hao (a name scholar give to themselves) . 10.5 cm high. Condition is very good.
Both of them are well and thinly potted, it is hard to find a pair of bird feeders-one for water and one for bird's food. Accounting to the inscription, it was made in the year of Shengchun (1947). The hight of the taller one is 4 cm. Condition are excellent.
A superb and rare early 20th century Chinese porcelain vase, finely potted in Rhomboid form, the idea of this form may comes from the rectangular "cong", but more difficult to make this shape. Decorated at two sides with the patterns of scholars’ life in enamel, this enamel is different from normal famille rose but imitated the enamelled porcelains of the Imperial Ateliers; at another two sides with very interesting poems. Museum Quality!
