It consists of a sterling silver hand crafted band topped with a sterling dish, which holds a large natural iron pyrite cube, held in place by a sculpted copper tube. Circa 1970s. Size 7.5. Incredible and monumentally scaled ring by important Modernist silversmith James Parker, from La Mesa, California. Circa 1950s. The audacious sterling silver setting holds an interesting fossilized coral stone. The ring bears the early Parker conjoined "JP" mark, and is also marked "925" for sterling silver.
