Vintage Danish torque neck ring and long pendant by important silversmith Andreas Mikelson. In sterling silver. The round portion of the pendant appears to have been made of pieces of crushed silver. This unusual construction makes the pendant sparkle and glimmer in the light.
Fully signed on the torque and on the pendant. The torque measures 4-5/8" in diameter and approximately 15-3/4" in circumference. The pendant measures 3-1/8" long overall, the round portion 1-1/2" in diameter. The interior circle piece has the interesting material, which is smooth to the touch and on both sides. This portion is slightly convex. The condition is very good, with minor tarnished. |
