| Serafin Moctezuma was a contemporary of Willam Spratling, making jewelry in Taxco, Mexico in the early to mid 20th Century. His work is fairly scarce, and mentioned in the book "Mexican Silver" by Morrill & Berk. This traditionally styled brooch is made of 980 silver, which is almost pure silver and a higher grade than sterling. It is good sized, measuring approx. 2" x 1.5". Very good vintage condition. Weight 18.2 grams. | ||
